The new Borkum collection, consisting of 10 new motifs, was created in cooperation with designer Sabine Homering. Together with her daughter Jule Deisinger, she has been living on the German North Sea island for several years. They have not only fallen in love with the beautiful island, but also with its culture, history and language, which is reflected in their work.
Borkum is the westernmost of the seven East Frisian North Sea islands. It was shaped by whaling in the 18th century. The adjacent Wadden Sea leads to a great diversity of species around the islands. Large parts of the island are also nature reserves and retreats for birds and insects.
The new collection reflects the character and diversity of Borkum. A balance between nature, maritime flair and modern colours.
